The E 55-210mm f/4.5-6.3 OSS from Sony is an APS-C-format lens ideal for a wide range of shooting applications, including sports and nature due to its portrait-length to mid-tele reach of 82.5-315mm. It features a variable aperture of f/4.5-6.3 that helps keep overall lens size and weight to a minimum and a two extra-low dispersion glass elements to reduce chromatic aberrations and color fringing for improved clarity and color neutrality.

The rounded seven-blade diaphragm makes it possible to achieve smoother, more natural defocusing in your images including artistic blurring or 'bokeh' and greater control over the depth of field. An internal focus mechanism contributes to faster, more responsive autofocus, the minimum focus distance of 3.3', and easier handling as the lens does not change in length during use.

Optical SteadyShot image stabilization helps to minimize the appearance of camera shake for sharper imagery when shooting handheld with slower shutter speeds.
